Novels
My novels are typically young adult fantasy with main plots and subplots and morally grey (sometimes more black than grey) characters that are continually going where they are not supposed to.
Against the Black and Ink: A YA vampire fantasy. A teenage orphan girl gets turned into a vampire and tries to both survive and find her twin brother amongst complex hierarchies that she wants no part of and tries to subvert via flirting, friendship and incorrigibly insolent sass. Drafted, outline pending.
The Silver Wanderer: A YA (on the mature end) shifter fantasy. A snow leopard shifter joins a war out of typical feline curiosity, and ends up being one of the key players despite being deeply antisocial. Wlw romance subplot. Drafted, outline pending.
(Searching for a) Space to Breathe: A YA fantasy. People have powers and are persecuted for them. A high achieving schizophrenic girl and her equally high achieving brother go on an adventure and are joined by (kidnap) an older man who tries his hardest to get them to go home. They all have their own motivations, buildings get demolished. Drafted, outline in progress.
The Ship that Sailed: A YA fantasy. People once again have powers, but this time are students. Two teenage girls stumble upon a prophecy and set out on a mission to gather six legends and travel to the promised land. They are chaperoned by one of said legends and her pet skeleton (he’s just here for the vibes). Drafting.
Romance novels
These are all LGBTQ+ romance novels that I started when I was having writer’s block with other projects. I originally planned for them to be short stories but they got so long that I was finally forced to admit that they wouldn’t be counted as a short story even by a wide margin. I currently have them on a little bit of an elemental theme based on the style and pace of the story, and work on them in my free time.
Air: Wlw. Harpy that lives in a cave on a cliffside X a rich woman that casually rockclimbs said cliffside. Dual POV, my girls are trying very hard to communicate but are very bad at it, a lot of back and forth. Outlined, second draft pending.
Water: Wlw. Pirate Captain X Navy Captain. Lots of emotions, trauma, and finding comfort in each other. Multiple POVs. Blood, guts, trauma, I’ll kill someone for you but don’t deserve you. Drafted, outline pending.
